The students that work on the kitchen crew work hard to keep everything clean and running smoothly. Working in the kitchen requires a sacrifice of their personal time in the dorms. For all the hard work and sacrifices made, Brigham and Travis did a benefit to reward the kitchen crew for their efforts. The 18 year olds recently remodeled "Yellow Camp" making it a nice area to have a campfire and relax. The kitchen crew went down to Yellow Camp for their first time. The boys cooked their own Bratwursts over the fire, and had chips and soda as well. Brigham and Travis spoke to the boys about time management, prioritizing, and taking time as needed for themselves. The boys participated and had a really good discussion. After the discussion, everyone sat around talking and enjoying each others company while a few of the boys played the guitar and sang. All the boys had a good time and are looking forward to future activities at Yellow Camp!

The mentors decided to do a benefit for the students on their perspective campuses. They decided to do a movie and donuts to show the students how much they care about their success.
The mentors volunteered to pay for the donuts with their own ledger money. We were excited to see that they were willing to sacrifice something of their own for others. The students loved the movie and donuts and were very grateful that the mentors would do something like this for them.
